Following on from how many woman there are on here compared to men. And how woman are supposed to hold all the cards ..I was wondering if any woman had been turned down by a man... |

Yes, I have. I know I'm not every mans cup of tea and it's quite refreshing to be turned down. It's good to know that not every man will shag anything.

I sent a fancy a fuck message on the back of a forum experiment. He was very polite in saying he didn't.
I chose someone I knew wasn't desperate and well liked on the forums, to prove that some men do turn women down. |

I haven't been turned down with a message giving a reason, but I have been ignored, deleted and blocked and even stood up several times on arranged social meets.
So I guess all of the above are ways of being turned down!  |

I partially agree some of the chicks profiles on this read like a shopping list for their ideal husband fs, i want this, not that, dae this, not that, must have x,y and z. But to be fair tae them they get so much attention and sausage thrown at them l,r & c they develop a sixth sense for filtering what they want and what they don't want. Put it this way I'd hate to be a chick fs constant houndings by all sorts. |

I don't think their egos are 'self inflated' it's more the hundreds of messages a day they get telling them they are this and that, how sexy they are, even tho they don't have pictures and blah blah . It's rare to even see a forum post where some guys not trying to creep on to them. I consider myself to be very grounded with zero ego but maybe just maybe if I got hundreds of messages a day telling me I was something special, even I might start to believe them !  |

Neither of us lost; he didn't have sex with me for whatever reason and I didn't get stood up by someone who didn't want to meet me but lied and said they did. That's definitely not a loss for him and my ego survived whatever loss there was my end. |

Yep. And i've had messages read and deleted without a reply.
I also had a "i don't need your pity thanks" after i sent a nice message to someone from a forum thing.
I now no longer make first contact with anyone.

I've turned quite a few ladies down, I'm hardly gods gift but I like what I like which isn't going to change. I don't see it as a big deal either way. Just because us single men have a hard time on here doesn't mean we should accept every offer we get. As long as you do it in a polite and respectful way it shouldn't be an issue.  |

I'm not a single woman and I'm not sure this was aimed at couples as well, but we've been turned down by single guys (along with messages not answered). I came on fab knowing people have different tastes, so it's no worries here. |

I haven't been turned down directly but that's because I'm terribly cowardly and don't usually make the first move on someone. I have had a number of 'promising' conversations fizzle away to nothing though which pretty much amounts to the same thing, presumably because the other party wasn't feeling it but that's fine, we can't be everything to everyone and nor would I want to be. |

I guess so far, I'd consider myself lucky in that I haven't had to turn a lady down based on looks alone. I have met a lady for a social and despite us finding each other attractive on the pictures and in the flesh, there wasn't a sexual connection so we both agreed to leave it. |
