Why is it with nearly every forum post on this site do idiotic people feel the urge to post a snide comment or take the piss. This isn't in relation to me btw.

Virtually every post has 1 dickhead on it.

Everybody on here is different as are peoples likes or what they are into or what they prefer. So why don't people respect other people's opinions.

People need to realise nobody is perfect even though some people think they are.

You can have muscles & a big dick , be beautiful with an amazing figure & be a model but all the time in the gym wont sort your personality out or attitude.

Isn't it about time people let others like what they like without judging & leave them to it

They've nothing to contribute to the thread but still want to be involved. Then there's those who'll derail a thread so they can flirt with someone instead of 'getting a room'.

They just want to appear scintillating.

I mean the majority is alright! Fab can't be perfect after all, or can it?

It's a forum though. And when a post it thread is out there, it's for everyone to comment on. Unless you go Pm as someone said.

Even this Op is going to get views you might not like.

I usually go the d' head comment road. It's sometimes pointless repeating what others have already said, but I try to keep things light hearted.

Keep posting. Keep ignoring those you don't like. Life goes on.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

It seems the Internet will bring the worst out in some people, the anonymity it affords empowers them to behave in ways they maybe wouldn't in real life....

Then of course you get those that are just rude and obnoxious in real life and are no different on here, those that will not think twice about posting cutting remarks because they don't care what people think of them or if they hurt others feelings needlessly...

But on a whole, the great people far outweigh the not so nice, so take their comments with a pinch of salt and never take to heart any negative comments people may post...

From one thread I was made out to be an aggressive, closet homosexual and homophobic.

I said nothing aggressive or offensive. Just expressed some things I find negative about fab.

I was rounded on very quickly and only a small minority defended me.

I'm glad it panned out that way as my thread was intended to spark a reaction and show people for who they really are, the instant negativity proved my original point..

Theres little to no respect on here, clubs, dogging etc. On the whole it's people chasing what THEY want, quite aggressively in some cases.

People use this site however they see fit. But the whole process opens most of us up into a very vulnerable position.

A little honesty and respect go a long way I find, in every walk of life, especially when it comes to getting your kit off in front of a near stranger.

I can see why you'd think that. I wasn't trolling, I was proving a point in a way I'd hoped people may see themselves acting and behaving in a way, that they hadn't done before.

It failed. But hopefully someone came away thinking about their actions and reactions.

Yes indeed it was! The way we say things can have a very negative reaction and the way that thread kicked of was continued in the manner it started. If someone less confrontational had said it it would have gone a completely different way. He's now coming across all butt hurt and offended.

People use the phrase 'proving a point', or 'social experiment' to backpedal when a post did not go the way they were expecting. Maybe you learned something about the forum denizens that day too.

You're all entitled to your opinions, I'm not getting into it again.

I know myself and know you know nothing about me other than the tiny parts I choose to share on here. I'm confident I'm a good person.

Isn't debating confrontational by its very nature?

I'm not back peddling, I'm not scared of defending my views, I'm not sure another posters thread is the best place to bring this up though, so OP, I apologise for mentioning it.

If anyone wants to carry on the debate in private, I'm willing to do so. It's hard to debate with multiple people at once and respond equally to everyone's point.

I still feel I raised many valid points, but rather than focusing on those. Many sought to discredit me personally, probably because they saw a little of themselves in what I said... And reacted in shock, horror and outrage in self defense.

My main point was just, live and let live. Respect and honesty go a long way when dealing with people.

Our own experiences colour how we read things. Typed words can't display tone and body language intended by the author - we imbue them with that.

For that, I apologise wholeheartedly. "

I don't.

"Personally I think some of the posts are ridiculous and idiotic .... so what you are saying is everyone has to agree? I thought it was a discussion forum .... some people cannot take it if another person has a different point of view?"

Having a discussion or different opinions is different to someone being deliberately rude or taking the piss. You see the same people on most post taking the piss out of the opening thread or being nasty to the person who started the thread and turning the thread into something it wasn't.
