So, what are you reading?
Are you enjoying it?
Why are you reading it?
Would you recommend it?
Why?
A fab book club should be a very interesting book club indeed! |

Life On The Mississippi
It seems that before he became a journalist and writer, Mark Twain was a Mississippi steam boat pilot.
So, this book is his memoir of piloting steam boats across America, and through the Mississippi, possibly the biggest, wildest river on earth.
It's a great, great read. Twain is like Dickens, humane warm, civilised and a pleasure to spend company with. |

Having watched apple tree yard, I'm on the book now. Goes against my rules as I always try to read the book first.
Last read before that, the last Peter James book. Like lee child, Linwood Barclay, Stephen Booth and stuff like that. |

I try to read the book first, but if I'm struggling with it, then the film/ drama can help. I often then go back to the book |

"Currently I'm reading 'The curious Baristas guide to coffee' by Tristan Stephenson. It's about ummm coffee.......
Is this fiction or non-fiction?"
Definitely non fiction but it's fueling my coffee addiction |

That sounds interesting. I will add to my list. I recently finished We Chose To Speak Of War And Strife by John Simpson. I've just started The United States of Paranoia by Jesse Walker. |
