Great question! Buffy Season 3 was the best season. The Mayor and Faith and the final two episodes kicked all the ass.
Best episode? Once more with feeling, a musical episode that was written to actually include the singing in the plot. Close second was Hush. Fucking terrifying and the so much of the episode is silent. Genius.
Favorite Character? My favourite Scoob was Xander, he had heart when it counted. My favourite villian was Glory. "Glory's not a demon. She's a God".
I didn't really like Angel, either the character or the series apart from Smile Time. Which was awesome!

Just binge watched the whole 144 episodes (on dvd box set)
So many fine moments.
Fear itself is my favourite episode, the Halloween party at the frat house. Probably because of Giles with a chainsaw.
Willow was my fantasy, because I find intelligent women attractive, and red hair too, but they had a lot of stunning actresses.
To veer off on a Josh Weedon tangent, anyone watch firefly or dolls house? |

Favourite episode has to be Once More With Feeling.
And Spike is most definitely my favourite character. Well... Willow is actually, but that is more because I fancy the pants off of Allison Hannigan  |

I'm going to echo the musical and Hush as stand-out episodes.
Season-wise I'm quite a large fan of 6. Buffy has been pulled from heaven, the nerds are running amok, the episode "Normal Again". It was dark with moments of absurdity and I loved it. |
