kettering-ish

I often see profiles with the words [Professional Couple/person/man/woman...

What does this mean?

No disrespect, but what does that say about everybody else on this site?

I run my own business, very much client facing, financially secure, should I be writing that im a professional too?

To answer your last question first... sure, if you want.

To answer your second question second...

it says nothing about everyone else on this site.

To answer your first question last...

it means they consider themselves professional.

It's a description like any other. If you want to use it and feel its applicable feel free. I warn you now there's a hell of a lot of inverted snobbery surrounding its use.
