1) I tend to buy books from charity shops - normally from a local one which does four paperbacks for £1 - at 2, 3 or 4 at a time, so I never know what to read first, which leads to...
2) ... my bedroom overflowing with books!
Any others to add? |

Duplicates! I don't have any signed copies but I do have three copies of my favourite novel - one being a vintage copy but the cover scares the heck out of me, one that's falling apart but is sentimental and that I actually read.  |

My whole house is overflowing with thousands of books - don't have enough space for all the bookshelves I need, so there are piles on the floor (70 or so just by the bed ), on the table, double stacked on the shelves I do have, in the spare room, in boxes, under the bed, in and on the wardrobes, everywhere really.
Have currently got literally between 2 and 300 brand new books to read, and loads of older books I want to read again (or dig out of boxes) but still can't resist buying more and more.
I figure that if I can ever afford to retire at least I'll have something to do .... |

Omg I have boxes and boxes of books. I have been trying to take them to the library for years but never seem to be able to make it out of the front door with them!
It's actually got to the stage now where I have to be careful when starting a new book. They seem to take all of my attention until I'm done. Can't deal with the sleepless nights like I used to lol |

I tend to mine out occasionally by selling a few to a little secondhand bookshop near me |

I bought a job lot on ebay, 350 sci-fi paperbacks from the 50s through to the 80s. Four years on I still haven't decided which to read first! |

All of these and also I'm sorry but 'I'm curled up on the sofa with a good kindle ' sounds and is wrong...it's actually physically owning/holding that feels so much better....which is probably why i own too many lp's/cd's/cassettes/dvd's as well |

I have 100s of paper books, plus 10s of thousands of eBooks which I can put on my Kindle and Tab. The problem is I love rereading my old favourites, which leaves little time for new books and as yet undiscovered new favourites.
It's a problem
