Would you say you are true to yourself?
Do you hold back from saying what you really think or do you agree with people for them to like you?
Or are you one of those who think 'fuck it' and say what you really think...... |

I'm pretty much the same on here as I am in reality.
The only differences I would say are ~ I've learnt to reign to my emotions in & not post when upset / angry ~ in reality I would go ahead regardless.
I think I come across better in person, I'm fairly animated & that doesn't show on here. |

I like to try and get my point across, but I do it way more diplomatically on here. If I blurted out what I always thought, I'd probably be getting constant bans.
"I think you're a cunt" would be changed to "I don't agree with you and I think it's unfair of you to..." |

...I tend to let things go here more than I do in person. So while I'll continue a debate in person, on here I don't often see the point and I'll leave it.
I guess that's a difference. |

I like to think I'm generally the same here as I am face to face, if anything I am maybe a little more direct here, but that's only because you have time to think out a response before posting it, that you don't in real time face to face. |

I say what I think. I try not to get fully enraged but have done a few times but try to still be reasonably coherent and not post anything I'd regret -- which is being true to myself. I don't bring my full blown cunty side onto written media though, so there are some times I'd like to tell people that I think they're being offensive twuzzocks but I try to rise above really saying it. Halo has slipped occasionally.  |

Hmm. To a certain degree I am. I'd be far more likely to call out people on the shit that people spout if we were conversing face to face - on here there are penalties for doing so. I'm getting better at ignoring those threads and just letting them carry on with their twuntish BS.

I'm more careful with what I say on here, I don't want a ban. I'm normally direct in my opinions though not offensive so the posts that I would get fired up over I tend to scroll past.

You can't get a ban for expressing your honest opinion no matter how ghastly or vulgar it is, that's the point of a public forum, however you can for personal attacks against others and breaking the specified rules.

In most cases I am, Sometimes I want to say grow up you're a adult or if you don't know by now you never will but just hold back from saying it,
As in real life I try to be non-confrontational, I don't really like drama, I don't like arguments or being around people arguing so normally avoid threads that go that way |

I'm true to myself in that I rarely get involved in other people's drama anyhow. I'm naturally upbeat and have a tendency to look after number one. I don't have a fab persona. Offline I'd ignore batshit crazy comments just as I do online. I much prefer it this way. |

I'm mostly the same on here as in real life. I'm just me. However there's some things that simply cannot be discussed in forums so I have to sometimes think before I type.

I don't write what I really think on here, if I did I would probably be on a permanent time out.
That is why I rarely post..... so the above doesn't happen.
I don't know many people on here and they don't know me, what I do write is a watered down version of what I truly think and don't post on threads which I know are gonna go tits up. You can usually tell by the title.
Those that know me know that I am a blunt and forthright person, but that doesn't come across the right way on a written forum. So I sit on my hands most of the time  |

I say what I think. I'd rather be liked by one person for being me than liked by a 100 for being a sycophant. My tolerance of bullshit and drama online is the same as it is in real life.
But the online me seems to channel certain character traits rather than encompass all of the real me |

I'm absolutely myself and wouldn't say anything that wasn't genuine, though I do try to be mature and diplomatic about it when I disagree with someone. That's because I don't want to cause unnecessary distress, not because I'm desperate for people to like me and I think it's a bit unbecoming to end up in virtual fights at my age. There are so many people I've wanted to tell to grow up and fuck off at different times but I'm sure that's the same for most of us.
I don't lie, or try to create a false persona, but am wary of revealing too much about myself though because if I didn't censor my forum contributions I'd soon get a reputation for being weird(er than I already am) which is hardly a desirable quality - and while I'm not chasing adoration from the masses, it'd be a bit pointless to alienate *everyone*.
In short, honest but cautious and not at all sycophantic, I hope. |

I've got no reason to curry favours with anyone, by blowing "Hot Sunshine" up anyone's arsehole, whoever they are.
I say what I think, relevant to whatever has been written in the forum.
I might soften it, to spare someone's feelings, but, if the comment is deserving, they'll get both barrels.

I honestly don't think my opinions are that important to anyone on here. I don't take myself too seriously on here. Unfortunately, there are some fragile and sensitive people who take things to heart and can be hurt by others' words, and I think some people know that and deliberately try to upset them. Or just enjoy spouting off. |

I'm quite an introvert and if someone doesn't seem interested in listening to me, I won't bother trying again. Instead I buy a one-way ticket to Wonderland and let them continue with their solo conversation. I don't particularly like heated debates either. So I guess I'm as boring in real life as I am in here. I can be sarcastic but it's really not my nature to be mean. I can't be bothered with petty arguments and drama so tend to agree to disagree. Should I even be here? Going to sleep on that now!! |
