I was really surprised when we first moved here and I saw people drinking pints with their breakfast. But now it just seems pretty normal. I'm more surprised now that people even look at you funnily for it!
I was at a wetherspoons once for breakfast and they messed up my veggie sausage. When I went to the bar to ask for a replacement sausage they offered me a pint as an apology. |

Mr here. I used to work nights and someones times used to have a couple of drinks in the morning. I looked at it as that was my night and never bothered about what other people thought.
Used to work on a Tarot chat line in Manchester years ago and the look on some peoples faces when you pull a can of beer out of your bag and crack it open at the tram stop at Picadilly Gardens was hilarious.
Don't let it bother you and enjoy your pint. |

Many moons ago before weatherspoons came about I was also shocked by this, Blackpool b&b, Geordies having a pint with a full English.
Now it seems normal. |
