Well done to you, truly. And while im not trying to lose weight i have recently give up smoking after 14 years. Im now 2 months without a drag, my motivation is actually an app that i have on my phone. It measures how long I've quit and the money ive saved. But the data i keep checking is the length of time i quit for. I would find it a real shame for that to drop back to 0. When it does come to weight loss, its good not to expect it to happen over night. Just keep aiming for progress and not perfection. And again, well done

I've lost 20kgs. My motivation was being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.. I had to lose 1 oz of fat from around my pancreas..

1oz of fat from there = 20kg body fat..

worked for me.. cut out sweets and biscuits and soft drinks and snacks, more exercise etc etc.

I don't do slimming world or diet (Other than cutting out fizzy drinks, snacks and remembering to eat 3 times a day minimum)

Have dropped to 96kg this week and started at about 115kg, lost 4kg in last week doing weights.

Wiggled is loving the effects, I'm healthier, far calmer, more positive and way more stamina.

It's worth it just for her smile

I've lost 1st 7lbs so far, lots still to lose, but onwards and downwards (as my consultant would say)

My motivation is losing my mum in 2015, she had many weight issues, although they aren't why she died. I could see I would end up the same way if I carried on living the way I was. I gave myself time to grieve and started my weight less journey once I was ready...that was in Sept. It's been a slow journey, but I'm getting there and running/walking my first half marathon this Sunday in Bath!!! In memory of my mum and in aid of Dorothy House Hospice.

There and to the left a bit

First up OP congratulations and well done on the achievement

Having lost around three and a half stone in the past 18 months or so I know how great it feels. My motivation? Realising I couldn't fit into an XL shirt and refusing point blank to get the XXL. My reward? Feeling better about myself now at 51 than I have done since I was around 30.

I've lost about 2 stone of the 8 I put on a long time ago. I ballooned 8 stone in a year. I got serious about losing it a year ago and have slowly lost. I always put a few pounds back on in winter, because the cold makes my body painful.

My motivation is feeling lighter and being more mobile. I haven't done any diet. I'm making my own meals with meat, veg, beans and pulses.

I also want to be able to walk into any shop and find a size that fits me.

Well done all the slimmers. I joined a couple of months ago. 12 lb down so far. I find it tricky trying to eat three meals a day as I work odd hours. Any tips?

Try eating with main meal earlier and finish off with a light snack, going to bed on a full stomach is when your meatabolism naturally slows down...

I so get this. I've lost 4 stone and gone from a size 20/22 to a 14/16 in 5 months and to be able to buy from "normal" size ranges and shop in places I couldn't before is just lovely. Plus I can run miles now I have never been so fit in my life and I'm loving it

I've lost 12.5 pounds in 7 weeks so far. I sometimes wish I could get the big numbers off like I see others do but then I remind myself that as long as I see a loss on those scales every week it's good.

I love SW, congrats on your 5 lb loss this week.. thats 5 cans of baked beans

Go into your kitchen select 5 cans put them in a bag and lift it up.. thats a serious amount of weight to shift!

Im constantly reminding myself just how heavy even 1/2 lb is..

I love the motivation for the next award, next sticker, next slimmer of the week.. going down into that next stone bracket..

im yet to drop a dress size but i feel my health improving so much, my resting heart rates dropped quite a bit, im sleeping better at night and my clothes are loose.

I bought a box where for every 1 lb of fat i shift i put £3 into the box.. so realistically when ive dropped loads of weight i can buy a new wardrobe.

I personally dont believe in a treat night where i go mental with SYNS.. but i count everything, write it down, photo blog most of it and the encouragement from friends (not even ones who follow the SW plan) is just amazing.
