Went to bed last night to be awoken by the roof leaking above me with a heavy downpour last night.....the roof was fixed or so I thought two months ago.

Bugger me I moved across the bed and put a bucket on the other side with a large sponge in to stop the noise of the dripping.

Nodded back off to be woken by a fucking mouse going berserk in the loft as the rain must have disturbed him.

I'm knackered. ....anyone had a worse night....no tragedies please

Unfortunately not.. hope you've rang the company who 'fixed' your roof and tell them they need to get their arses back and do the job properly otherwise you'll be seeking the money back and compensation for lack of sleep.. and for the mouse too (he needs a new home now)

Made two phone calls this morning...one to the contractor and the other to pest control who have not been turning up to put more bait down.....feel sorry for the poor buggers who answered my calls now lol

I often wake up to damp patched on my bed. Nothing to do with the roof. Really hope it gets sorted. Can't be good.

Too true....when you can see where it is coming in from the gap in the felt from the inside.....but that doesn't tell you where it's coming in from the outside

Bloody minefield,I have two chimneys that I've had problems around. One's been sorted, the other probably more expensive one is yet to be done

What gets me is where the leak is....in my bedroom right over the side of the bed I sleep in. And no I can't move the bed it's a bloody fitted bedroom.

How unlucky can you get?

In the log pile is OK I could put up with that.
