Land of the giants... ;-) |
I've seen the rise and fall of hungry hippos... Paul Daniels appeared and disapeared like magic... but I have a lot to offer like the rest of my generation... a wealth of experience... conversation and a willingness to please and be pleased... tell me about your generations attributes... |

'The 60s' sounds like ancient history (eek) but I do remember a few things ... the excitement of watching the moon landings on TV, being given 'old' (pre-decimalisation) pennies and sixpences in the sweetshop, my World Cup Willie toy, Andy bloody Pandy who I'd written off as sinister from a very young age, the dubious 'treat' of licking Green Shield stamps for my mum's collector book, and being dragged out of a cinema when I was 4 or 5 for singing Puff the Magic Dragon very loudly during a quiet bit of The Sound of Music (can't have been the original showing).
In my defence, most of my memories are actually from the 70s ... |

Late 70's, so i only really remember the 80's.
He-man, She-ra, tranformers, Thundercats, freezing cold winters and No central heating. Red hot summers and playing outside until the street lamps came on. |
