I usually don't let anything that keyboard pyjama warriors say bother me - but today I've had a lot of abuse 
I block and ignore but for some reason I feel a bit upset today  |

Try to remember its not personal. They don't know you in real life so why should their opinions matter? If theyre being rude to strangers then theyre the ones with the problem not you! X |

For most part I get nice messages but have received one or two nasty messages. I let them get to me at the start but now I think fuck it they don't know me and I generally let it go over my head. |

one of the comments was over a deleted message that I don't even remember deleting
Apparently I'm just "one of the many fat rude cunts that are on here to get sex because I couldn't even get paid for it"

I won't copy n paste your message but is it at times any wonder why women don't bother messaging men back.
I generally only get shitty messages when I've replied with a no thanks or if I put up a status update saying I've bulk deleted...meh! |

Nah. Quick search shows that to be a load of crap. When someone starts a thread about receiving abusive messages, they get told to keep smiling, report and block, don't let it get to you etc. Regardless of the demographic. Anyways, OP. Sorry it's happened to you. |

In the same way that people who send abusive message don't know you in real life, the same goes for well wishers on these forums.
Neither know you in real life so their words are a bit empty. Well wishers are often just virtue signalling to the group as thy crave affection themselves.
The internet should always be taken with a pic of salt.
As long as you block people or do what you think is correct, the all the matters.
And the classic motto of 'stick and stones' should always be paramount.
Who cares what someone said? Only truth hurts.
If your being hurt, maybe what they are saying has a kernel of truth to it.
Stuff upper lip n all that jazz !
Don't let people get you down.

Used to get a lot of this when I had single female profile on here just for being polite and saying no thank you. Like you're going to change your mind just because they get shitty?? Strangely, since being with my partner we hardly ever get crap on couples profile because they know they may be speaking to male half, ones that have been rude on single have been completely different!! What gives these a*seholes the right to treat women like this? They are too cowardly to behave like this with a couple or in real life! I simply meant that being in an echo chamber of virtue signallers doesn't really help you.
It can reinforce bad practices, and patting someone on the back insincerely is hardly caring about their situation is it?
If it truly takes you 4 positive posts to combat a bad post.
I think the problem there is with you requiring conformation from people all the time.
Be yourself not what you think others want you to be or what you think they approve of.

Ooopsie didnt mean to delete. As i was saying... i have the same man message me abuse all the time. He threatens to expose my pics online and pay someone to do me in. I keep reporting him yet he comes back a few days later. I try not take it to heart but it is sometimes a bit scary! |

I will admit I am used to receiving abusive messages, mostly from men I have never even spoke to before, they don't bother me so much now, but when I got my first load a few years ago now, I will say I was totally shocked and for some reason deeply hurt.
Now I just tell them to fuck off....plus I have other ways to piss them off more
