There are many artists that have painted some wonderful pieces.
I've stood at a many and been in awe with how good they are.
Many I describe as fantastic.
That does not mean they all become less fantastic.

We have in the past sent compliments to people that aren't compatible due to distance/preferences etc. Just a compliment or comment if we feel like it and see something that appeals. You can just tell someone they look great with no intentions!
Those we want to meet we tend to say a lot less to in a cringy complimentary way and just enjoy meeting them in the flesh instead. |

I haven't heard them all but it's normally fairly easy to tell if it's another generic, frequently rolled out compliment for the sake of genitalia action. I do like the genuine ones and if they are from people I like, even better. |

It's a difficult one as by the very nature of a site like this it's very easy to come across as false when complimenting someone, even if that compliment is truly meant.
Whilst it's obviously best to try and avoid the clichés, if for instance you swap face pics with someone on FPF and you think the sender is good looking, pretty, gorgeous, lovely or any of the other stock phrases that are rolled out a thousand times a day, isn't it not only human nature, but the nature of the site to say so?
Guess the trick is saying so as if it's meant and not just a lame attempt to get into that persons knickers/boxers. |

I've never had compliments of the type I get here. It is easy to get carried away with them but my natural cynicism helps.
I'll give compliments where I think they are warranted. If I think someone is gorgeous then I will say so. I've sent PMs in the past where a new pic has made me say 'wow'. Thinking one person is gorgeous doesn't mean that I can't think someone else is though.
Telling someone they are THE most gorgeous? I'd restrict that to just the one person. Otherwise I'd be an arse.

I'm not pretty or gorgeous compared to some of the ladies on here, and I don't take compliments well. I always feel awkward when I get one and struggle to think of an answer.

I find most genetic compliments to be lacking substance. I say thanks when they're offered in any context, but I don't really give them credence.
I think specific compliments are more meaningful. Especially coming from people I've gotten to know a bit. Anyway, I think its generally easy to see when someone actually means a compliment. |

I am getting better at accepting them. From people I believe are sincere in offering them, anyway. I have a massively cynical streak but sometimes the compliment is obviously honestly meant and yes, it does warm the cockles. |
