Are our expectations too high or low?
9 times out of 10, if a guy meets a woman's expectations, she probably wouldn't meet his in reality.
Do men lower their standards on here or are women's too high, thanks to large men to women ratio?
Or is it the other way round at times?

i don't really have any standards as such. i want to be respected (hard when your privates are on show i know) and not be lied to or fucked about.
and then all the other stuff i ask for on my profile also.
probably our standards are too high but that's because we're not desperate and we value ourselves.

All of our meetings have been with very good looking women but then we are a couple.
For single men it is probably different. There are far more single men on here or any other dating site than women. Women therefore have the pick of the bunch.
Whether you as a man lower your standards or not depends on the individual.
We wouldn't meet someone we considered unattractive simply because we weren't getting much response from women we do find attractive. What would be the point of forcing yourself to have sex with someone just for the sake of it? |

I'm a realist, not most peoples ideal guy and respect that.
As someone at the top end of the fit scale, you're not really gonna be below any guys expectations x |

If your question is "Would I meet someone I considered unattractive?"
Then no.
I'm not going to arrogantly say I'm gods gift myself, because I'm likely not.
But I DO know what I want and what I don't want. I know that in my own head.

As someone already at the bottom end of most women's expectations, it's hardly gonna make much of a difference , but even with my limited traits on offer, I haven't done too badly on here with meets at both ends of the scale. |

Nothing matters but your own conduct and whether you're satisfied. Comparing ourselves to others is the root of too much malcontent in our society already. Let Sydney university do some statistical analysis if they wish. |

Haven't lowered my expectations or standards at all, either with this solo profile or as part of the couples one. Would be pretty disrespectful to people I meet if I did, let alone showing a lack of self-respect.
I'd rather not meet anyone than play any other way. |
