I'm loved up

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I have to confess I'm loved up over two recent purchases. My antique Hungarian wooden rocking chair which looks perfect snuggled in by my window so I've got the cosiest (think throw and cushion) curling up spot for reading or drawing. And my denim 'embrace my queer-femme side' dungarees, which are so comfy and kickabout and make me beam with happiness.

Without wanting to celebrate materialism strongly, are there any items you have or have recently acquired that you're lusting over?

If you're buying something quirky and unique like those, I'd say it's a lot less materialistic than those of us desperate for the new iPhone or Nike trainers.

"I have to confess I'm loved up over two recent purchases.

Ha! I'll take that!

Thanks, lol.

Only big quirky purchase I have like that is a 450 quid solid oak TV stand, 5 shelves, 4 making a cross with the 5th in the centre. Never seen anything like it before or since. Cost more than most of my mate's TVs, lol

Sounds like an altar to the tv!!

As I watch far too much TV, you may well be onto something, lol. Though the Fabs Forums, and you in particular Sexy, are currently distracting me from my box set binge.

Oh flattery "

Can't help myself.

"And there was me thinking the wedding was going to be announced

No-one even wants to be my boyfriend -- wedding bells are just a fantasy!

How about a girlfriend?

I'm loved up too

Actually you're totally right -- 'committed partner' should have been the comment, was just having a very male lusty day!

Nothing wrong with that at all.

I'm loved up with my new shoes, I think I need a nice comfy reading chair. You have inspired me

Shoe pics please!! "

I'll get one done tomorrow

Not a recent purchase but I love my bedside lamp - it's a rust coloured V with little bulbs in - kinda like a carnival light

If it's antique, it may not be ready for that kind of exertion, lol.

If you think that's cool, have you seen the R2D2 projector with Millennium Falcon shaped remote control?

We haven't bought it yet but there is some wallpaper I've been lusting after for a couple of years... Cthulhu damask wallpaper in black and red to finish the chimney-breast in the front room.
