James Blunt singing "Goodbye My Lover" at Glastonbury!!! ..I was singing along, in the soaring heat, drinking a pear cider (I don't even drink cider), it made me cry!! An amazing atmosphere and a very emotive song! I'd never actually lost a 'lover' back then, but if I had - I'd have balled even louder!!!

....yeah, actually maybe it was heatstroke and cider!!!

aug 31st 1991 axel roses and guns and roses walk out on stage to a packed Wembley stadium .

axel blows on a tube train whistle choo choo the opening bars to night train ring out from the stage , my ear drums nearly burst from the noise of the crowd as they go wild .

what follows is 2 hours of greatness burned into my soul for all time xxx

Born To Run

Bruce Springsteen

1,2 ,3 , 4 ....

The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive

Everybody's out on the run tonight

But there's no place left to hide

Together Wendy we can live with the sadness

I'll love you with all the madness in my soul

H-Oh, Someday girl I don't know when

We're gonna get to that place

Where we really wanna go

And we'll walk in the sun

But till then tramps like us

Baby we were born to run

live its just amazing

Wow Porcupine tree, there's a band I haven't listened too in way too many years!! Might have to some downloading as I had vinyl which I don't have any more. I'll throw Tool into the mix too, definitely a band I can listen too sober, stoned or pissed all with a mixture of emotions!

If I leave here tomorrow

Would you still remember me

For I must be travelin' on now

There's too many places I got to see

If I stay here with you girl

Things just couldn't be the same

'Cause I'm as free as a bird now

And this bird you cannot change

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

And the bird you cannot change

And this bird you cannot change

Lord knows, I can't change

Bye and bye baby, it's been sweet love, yeah yeah

Though this feelin' I can't change

Please don't take it so badly

'Cause Lord knows, I'm to blame

Free Bird

Lynyrd Skynyrd
