Good or bad?

Pervasive but mainly bad in my opinion.

Limbo

Meh .... cheap, reasonably quick, fills a hole but the menu description of their food is always a lot more exciting than the actual taste of it.

The best thing about them is that they increasingly seem to be taking over interesting old buildings ...

Up North

In general I like them. Especially the newer ones. Good prices for decent drinks.

I think for the prices they charge they are very good.

I think it has it's purpose, for me Wetherspoon's is typically used to intersperse a pub crawl with a few cheap drinks.

Nottingham

It's good value, never had any problem with the food and they've always got a good ale selection. Luckily in Nottingham there's a few quieter ones if it's busy in town
