It recently occurred to me that we spend so much time on songs, stories, chats and forum posts about the bad experiences we have. So rarely do we celebrate the good ones! So this is a space to rectify that. Maybe you met someone that restored your faith, or that surprised you? Maybe you struck up friendships that have become strong bonds. Maybe you had a meet without drama! Maybe you even found a soul mate. Heres to the nice people, the ones who don't hurt us or let us down. The ones who make being nice so sexy, the ones who do actually text the next day because they want to more than just to stay in the circle for a call back. |

My overall experience on here thus far is good. Very very nice people who are capable of holding conversations too. It's not half as bad as its made out to be, it's what you make it. But no complaints here  |

What a lovely thread OP and can honestly say my experience here has been mostly positive and has actually exceeded my expectations - sure there are odd days/times when some of the negativity on the forums gets you down, but they're the days/times that the "off" button was intended for. Besides they're far outweighed by the positives, whether they be seeing a forum post that makes you smile, engaging in long intelligent chats with likeminded people, or something as simple as getting a reply to a message.
So embrace the good and the positive about this place and turn your back on the negative I say  |

If it wasn't for the highlights, I would not be here, and I do not think others would be either. The good always outways the bad.

I've met some amazing friends here. Having them in my life, has enhanced it beyond measure.
The sort of people who can turn the ordinarily tedious single-guy experience, into a fucking awesome journey, of exploration and discovery. |

I've met a few people, well in the virtual world who have become very good friends. And it's only the miles that are between us that have stopped us getting together. |

Oh what a wonderfullying delightful thread Op!
So far my time on fab has been a most pleasant one.
I've met some wonderful people and still some yet to meet. Stayed friends with some of them too.
Brush aside the stupidity and rudeness from some not all on the forums or from privete messages but it's safe to say...
*I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it ~ William Shakespeare.
Long may this happiness and good vibes continue for all of you on here.

On the whole my experiences have been positive. I've recently reconnected with a chap who when I first met him he was going through a tough time but things have changed so now I'm looking forward to having lots of good times with him |

For someone who is in Cloudcuckooland you make a lot of sense in the forum
I still chat and meet people I met 2 years ago. We stopped saying things like 'Fab friend' a long time ago.
They are my friends just like people I studied with, work with and socialise with.
We do things on and off the scene.
Casual, exciting and fun 
Friendship with real meaning and substance maintains the electric dynamics. |

Its great to read that for most it has been positive experiences. Thank you all for sharing. I have to say I count myself pretty lucky too. Over the years I've met some great people who I remain friends with today.
Others I've met for brief encounters but still have fond memories of them.
I've seen people come and go, on here and elsewhere, I've seen those who have fought some very personal battles and come out stronger on the other side. Many more people I've admired from a far and others I chat to but have never met. It is what you make it. If you choose to make it positive it will be. |

The best meet i had on here wasnt even about the sex.
Was more about the shit going through my head i rememeber reading the messages the next day thinking how normal the messages were.
Then going to yourself wtf goes through your head ya madman.
Like something out of fear and loathing in las vegas. |
