do you live lift to the full

"We try. Sometimes living life to the full means just sitting on your sofa watching telly you don't always need to be abseiling down Everest or fulfilling your wildest fantasy. "
Exactly, I am very content with just about all aspects of my life. So I believe I am living it to the fullest.
Though to some it may look a little slow and quiet at times.
It's how I like it. |

Us too. We are retired although I do work from time to time. Someone asked recently
'what do you do?'
My reply was
'Enjoy ourselves' |

"I live it as much as I can. I go on hols, go out with mates, do Fab socials and meet new people, work in a job I like. I could maybe do more, but I have finite time and funds."
Two things in life that are very useful (if not essential). Time and money, they very rarely come at the same time. |

Honestly, I think I do. From the outside it probably doesn't look like a very exciting life but it suits me. I love my job, I love where I live, I have amazing (and often exasperating) kids and a wonderful partner. It has been a monumental struggle to get to this point and I accept that there will be more struggles to come, but right now I love what I have and I'm enjoying it.

"no
sadly not
I struggle with life "
I came to terms with my struggle. We have our moments but I treat it as a friend and not an enemy. We get on so much better now. |

No, there are aspects of it that have vastly improved in the past 2 years but sadly I'm not in a position to make changes that would help. I accept my limitations as doing any different would only make me sad for the life I could have. |

My family's needs are coming first right now. Both ends of the spectrum, my mother and my grandson so I would say at the moment, no, I'm definitely not. Ever the optimist, I feel my time will come again and there are a few goals still to achieve. If it doesn't happen though, it matters not. Meanwhile I have my lovely man for love and support and if my family need me that's where I am.
The little things are most important to me.... |

I feel like I used to tick all the boxes of appearing to live life to the fullest.
But now I'm older and more self aware I realise that I was just giving the impression to other people that I was loving my life!
I travelled a lot - 6 months at a time for over 10 years - I had relationships, friends, zero responsibilities and was never rich but financially ok.
But I've always been lonely.
I still feel it now - more so now I have less money and I can't be arsed to travel anymore.
I'm not sure what point I'm making here - I've basically stopped living - I'm just surviving and surprised that I've managed to get through yet another day of the same old shit without screaming
