Got my duvet from The White Company, they are one of the few that do a 60 degree washable duvet, meaning you can kill dust mites when washing. It's also very light at 2.5kg.. well worth the money. |

OP, buy them from Primark, then swap them for the ones in the hotel, sorted |

Look for 'thread count' on anything you want to buy. The higher the count, the softer and more expensive they are. TKMaxx do some excellent bedding at a fraction of its normal price.
Buy a duvet that can be washed and will fit in your machine. Dry cleaners can do it but you'll pay around £15 to get it done. If you can afford it, get two: a high tog for winter (around 13) and a summer one (around 4). Some manufacturers make duvets that can be poppered together so you can alter how warm or cool you want it.
Another tip would be to buy bigger than your bed. A super on a double gives you loads of sharing room and fewer draughts. |

Nah mess em up good and they go straight to the laundry without a room number on them...
The other trick I think works is let anyone called Fred sleep in your bed. Something about high Fred counts |
