i was just about to do some shopping in M&S and a builder who was up on some scaffolding around the store severed his finger.. i took him to the local hospital straight away, made sure he was ok,, returned back to let his work mates he was alright. by then the guys had found his finger so took that round to the hospital too...

even though the bloke was in tears all he could say was 'thank you'

id like to think that anyone would have done the same for me if i was in that situation.

Yup, done mine. Siren got me a chocolate teddy bear for Father's Day and I thought putting on the mantel under the mirror that's ABOVE the fireplace would be high enough to keep it out of our 2y/o's reach.

1 child's chair + 1 child's table + 1 fireguard + 1 determined little boy = not out of reach!

So I've sawed the legs off his table.

I just hope this level of determination to get what he wants is an indication of how his life will pan out. I have got him down as England World Cup Winning Captain 2034 you know.

Bradford

I trust yer little 'un wasn't too traumatised bu the sight of the severed finger.

If it had have been me, i'd have asked the man to draw me a painting with his finger end.
