I was wondering if there are any female motorcyclists here on fab and if so what motorcycles you ladies ride maybe you ride pillion on your boyfriends/ husband’s motorcycle, if so do you go to any of the big motorcycle rallies.
How about some of guys on here I would think I am not the only motorcycle fanatic on this site.
I ride a Yamaha FJ1200 it’s an oldie but a goodie & I try to get to 2 or 3 big rallies a year. I also have a 1967 Triumph Trophy which I am in the process of fully restoring its getting there slowly.

I used to have a 1988 FJ1200 until I broke it falling off on some ice!
My main bike is a (tatty) 1985 BMW K100RS and I several old Brit bikes plus a Spanish trials bike.
Always great to talk bikes! |

Last August Bank Holiday weekend, I was working at the main hotel complex on Aviemore, where the Harley Davidson Thunder in the Glens rally was based.
There was a significant proportion of female bikers attending. A wonderful unforgettable weekend. |

I love seeing a woman all dressed in motorcycle leathers find it very sexy but then again a woman in any sort of leather gear is sexy to me but that's another subject for another thread maybe.
I have ridden some Harley Davidson’s when I used to help out at my local Harley shop. I love the look and sound of them it’s just not a motorcycle I want to own and ride everyday.
I still have the Isle of Man TT to get to yet, It is on my bucket list will get there one year soon.

We love rally season.
First one of the year coming up in April in Essex. It was a vicars and nuns fancy dress theme there last year. My eyes nearly popped out of my head as well as many of the lads and girls when my woman got dressed up in a tight fitting PVC nuns outfit. Was a very naughty weekend indeed. There's even a pic in our public gallery I took in the tent. Nothing like getting noisy in our tent and hearing the effect it was having on at least 2 couples in neighbouring tents. |

Sami has had a motorbike for the last 3 years and I'm STILL waiting for him to take me out on it. I think he wants to keep threesome's out of biking... Its me and him OR him and the bike but never all three together |

I used to ride pillion until we were wiped out by a Volvo estate. It resulted in my having a degloving injury, they tried to save it but next day I had to have my right leg amputated below the knee, and then they had to go above the knee 5 days later. That was 23 years ago. Still love bikes but won't ride on one again. |

It seems like something I will have to recify this year, any suggestions for the best one to attend? |

The 2 big ones I did last year was the farmyard rally and the Yorkshire pudding rally both shows run by The Motorcycle Action Group with Back Street Heroes doing the custom bike show at them. Both show are held in Yorkshire. |

I hate to admit it redtwo but I too am more of a fair weather rider these days, don't mind being out and it starting to rain but hate having to set off out if it's already raining. I did 8 years as a motorcycle dispatch rider out in every type of weather the UK has got, seen enough wet weather to last me a lifetime. Also did 3 years as motorcycle Instructor. I just love motorcycles. |
