I find that people match their mails to whatever I say in my profile. 
I know everyone says they want people to read their profile and match what they are looking for, but most will just agree with whatever you say.
Does revealing all your interests on your profile ever really work? |

People message with one line profiles....eg fun male looking for fun women. I politely ask them to write a more expressive profile, so I can judge if we possibly seek the same 'fun'.
Ask me anything you want, is the reply. Then it becomes as OP says, just agrees with everything you say. Or the odd one will write a profile, which amazingly reflects mine. |

Yep it's why ours is pretty crap (my excuse). If hubby did it it would be war and peace. People just say what they think you want to hear. If I said I liked subs, then changed it to dominant the next week,a lot of the same people would message spouting bullshit |
