Bollox, not sure about now but they used to buy from Venezuela who gave them so much they in turn imported from Mexico (I think) who in turn imported from Russia & the Middle East.
Whatever way you want to spin it America's greed for oil benefits Russia & the Middle East even if its because they buy up everyone else's leaving those countries needing to buy from the "nasty countries"..
My favorite is that Gulf War 2 only happened because Saddam was so pissed he was planning to start selling his oil in Euros, apparently the Saudi's & Iran were also considering it.
This would have led to the total collapse of the current world order destroying both the US & UK economies & benefiting the Euro zone. Who wanted GW2 at any cost? GB/USA, Who were not interested? Most of the Eurozone plus others.

Some of my favourites are that:
1. We live in a matrix similar to the film.
2. The earth is flat
3. The moon is hollow
4. The Rothchild's, although this is more true than conspiracy.
5. The hollow earth.
6. The faked moon landings.
7. The ancient astronauts. This too isn't so much a conspiracy and more a theory.

A quick google , The USA gets 15% of its oil from Canada. Canada exports 71% of its production to the USA leaving it short so they also import over 50% again by volume of their total production. Canada imports from you guessed it OPEC, namely Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Algeria on the main.

You can actually see things left on the moon with a good telescope... And I think the Russians will have been watching...

Google it they had an entire floor of one of the towers where they took out all the windows and drew some weird stuff on the walls also they were driving about in a van with a picture of the twin towers and an aeroplane, it wouldn't be the first time the Israelis and Americans used a false flag attack to start a conflict. |

Except you can't as evidence gets very muddy at that point due to some very iffy manipulation of data.
Also it becomes meaningless under the IPCC initial reports we are now past the point of no return in regards to a feedback loop.
So even assuming it was 100% humans fault the horse is now out the stable across the feild and running down the m5.
So why bother with tiny delaying stratagies like hideously inefficent green policies.
If thier reports are true and should be belived we shpuld be putting all that funding and more into mitigation as its now a done deal.
Flood defences should be being built on an international scale.
Diversion of sea level rises shoupd be being planned to mitigate the cost to inhabited land (ie the flooding of the Sahara dessert which lies in a basin below sea level. Tunnels/artifical rivers should be dug to the med)
New crop lands should be being prepared to replace the land that is soon to be lost or made infertile.
But non of this is happening instead we see co2 caps and funding for windfarms.
Which means either the world leaders and scientific comunity are idiots or the hype is just that hype
