So what would be the worst job to have ?
I bailiffs with a passion...never been on the wrong side of them but have friends that have
soul less people,..no compassion whatsoever
And yes...this is my humble opinion |

Agree but they are there to do a job not feel compassion. It's the companies that appoint them that are the heart of the problem. We all get in debt and can't cope sometimes and it would be so much better to come to some sort of agreement before bailiffs are enforced.
Always wonder why anyone would want to become a traffic warden |

sometimes people just flat out refuse to come to an agreement, seeing it as their right to take whatever they want and sod the consequences.
yes we all get into money trouble at times however for the majority of people they only have themselves to blame. Companies have to be upfront about all charges etc nowadays.
the amount of people i spoke to when i worked for a money lending company who admitted not reading the terms and conditions is scary!! youare entering into a legal contract that involves your money and bank details, why wouldnt you read them?
also there are so many companies and charities out there to go to but people stick their heads in the sand like ostriches and think they they cant be touched, well they can!!
its not the bailiffs job to have compassion, its his job to recover the funds these people owe!!
think i need to go off and get some fresh air - am a bit ranty today |

i have admiration for most jobs to be fair, people have to earn money and be they bin man or lawyer they all contribute to society |

and relax he he. I'm with you and those that take the piss I have no sympathy for. People don't live within in their means these days and want everything yesterday without the hard graft it takes to get there. But there are exceptions
I have friends who have been on the end of those companies that aren't even prepared to negotiate at the beginning of a problem which then turns into a nightmare when they can't meet demands even when they have been upfront about their situation.
There was too much easy credit until the crunch hit. How can someone who earns £10K end up with 5 credit cards with £3k worth of credit on each.
I had my fingers burnt as a kid with credit cards. Took a long time to sort, never bailiff level though. Would never have a credit card again. I now save if I want something.

I understand that some people have no idea or no intention of paying what they owe but after watching the programme "bailiffs" i failed to understand how they could sleep at night ? |
