But that is part of the joy of ot, and always has been, that it's not JUST about battling zombies and is about human interaction in the face of challenging circumstances and how people change. That said tonight's episode wasn't particularly enthralling although not without its moments. |

They do seem to be labouring the whole oiecing together the various groups thing, but think that will start to move forward over the next couple of episodes. |

Funny, the thread title said the walking dead, i assumed it would be a thread where folk mulled over their fave program. Turns out it's a room full of haters, ripping it apart. How anyone can utter the words z nation in the same breath is beyond me, utter sci fi channel shite....beyond shite, silage possibly, shit acting, shit special effects, amatuer sci fi channel shit budget cgi....complete bollocks, as is most of their programming, and always has been for years.....and this is coming from a sci fi and zombie fan.

ive watched lots of z nation, I can safely put it up as decent...laughs at itself mostly...I'm super bored with the walking deads recycling seasons..slow pacing, secondary characters I dont care about, shit dialogue, preachiness....and yeah...a lack of zombies. |

I still find it entertaining, i'll admit some episodes are a bit pedestrian at times, but there's usually something awesome in them ones. |

It's definitely about the groups but it's a good thing because the Zombie killing was becoming a little repetitive to say the least. However, I do feel it needs refreshing again, I'm starting to feel it's shelf life is coming to a disapointing end. -M |

This season has been amazing from Popeye Glen to Eugene's I'm Negan, I was Negan before I ever met you.
Your not fooling me though mullet man, you don't reach stage 2 and reverse .
Love the show! Anyone who thinks after ANY Apocalypse it won't be about groups at odds with each other is deluded.

I don't think they are filler lol they just tie everything in, I'm sure we can all guess how it goes down by now but I love seeing how the writers tie it all up.
I was a huge fan of the graphic novels and so far the series hasn't disappointed especially for people like me because where we thought we'd know how everyone's characters would pan out the writers have done an amazing job of throwing curve balls at us. |

Quite surprised nobody is talking about Fear of the walking dead..
I hated its first season...but it later grew on me..mainly because I was finding many of twd's seasons severely lacking from midway through season 2. Personally, I've no interest in the graphic novels as much as I have no interest in GOT books..
I'd prefer things 'adapted' to TV than following something strictly..even marvel doesnt stick to its source material.
I used to like converting people to watch the show..not just cos it had zombies in it, I'd stress the emotional stories etc......but as I've said before, I've found so much in the rubbish characterisations/acting/script and 'emotive' music sucking to high levels of tedium. Most converts to the show mostly just say they gave up.
I even tried Outcast...that ended up being much of the same...but far worse..and I'm surprised its got a second season. |
