If there is a advert stating that they are on here with permission from the partner but wont meet some one else with permission do you think its a bit hypocritical?

No, I just think that, that's how they've chosen to go about their fabbing and they're easily bypassed.

No I don't.

It's their choice who they meet and they don't have to justify why they'll meet someone or why they won't meet someone.

I'm attached but play solo with full knowledge of my partner blah blah blah, so yes, I suppose I find it a little odd on the face of it if I see profiles like the one you describe.

However - it's quite possible they've been stung in the past by people claiming to be something they weren't and want to try and protect themselves from potentially getting caught up in someone else's drama (as much as you ever can if you simply take someone at their word). Whatever - I don't dwell on it. No-one is obliged to meet anyone else on here regardless of their situation or preferences.

I'm a man, but I won't have sex with other men. Does that make me a hypocrite?

No I don't think it's hypocritical, personally. They obviously have their own reasons

"I'm a man, but I won't have sex with other men. Does that make me a hypocrite?no it makes you straight "

Exactly. Who I am is unrelated to who I'd like to be with. This comparison, with a bit of critical thinking, should answer your original question regarding whether such behaviour is hypocritical. This is, I would argue, a blanket rule. One that you seem very comfortable accepting applies to sexuality and, I'm assuming, many other aspects of life. I wonder why you're having trouble with the example you cited.

It's up to them what they have decided between them

No I don't. They probably fell foul of someone playing with permission who actually wasn't. We won't meet people playing alone but with partners permission either because you never know another couple's dynamic and if permission is freely and happily given.

Yes it is indeed hypocritical but the good thing about it is that said person can be avoided quite easily.

Nope but id does seem to make you quite silly for even suggesting that both are even remotely similar.

No.

A single person might suit their relationship dynamic better. Or they might not want the hassle that could arise from someone having a partner, as even with permission this can happen.

It is a little bit I guess as what they are saying is

"We won't take a chance that playing with a solo with permission might lead to trouble"

while also saying

"But we expect a real singleton to take our word that we won't be".

So yes if you look at it that way they are.

•+• Access Denied •+•

it's only hypocritical if they think people on here with partners, who have permission, shouldn't be doing what they're doing.

if they don't specifically say that then they aren't being hypocrites and you don't know why they're saying that.

Because they trust their own situation. But as per your example- they can't trust other people.

You do what works for you

They do what works for them

Sometimes those two approaches will match

Sometimes they won't

If they don't, c'est la vie !

Really not worth being bothered by

Hypocritical or not
