Just wondering if its pineapple your against for instance if you were at a party and they brought out cheese and pineapple on sticks would you leave? Lol |

Yup I love it, however I have pepperoni and pineapple on mine, i found the combo when i used to work in an italian restaurant and we were trialling new pizza's so i threw em together, the hot almost peppery juice from the pepperoni mixed with the warm pineapple is amazing!
I also love pear and gorgonzola pizza.. dont know em till you've tried em |

Having thought about this long and hard, and weighed up all the arguments and options...
I think that if it's in my kitchen, prepared by me, for me to eat, and paid for with my own money, then I'll just have whatever I want on it, thank you very much...
No, I don't care what you think, and no, you can't have any...!
And finally, no - you can't sit and watch me share it with a girlfriend, so stop asking...

Hot & Spicy from Pappas is the only pizza I have ever had in the last 25 yrs, I used to live about 5 miles away and travel to get one, but now I live a 2 minute walk away across the road from it.
Pineapple should only be served as part of an upside down pudding with custard  |

I remember a burger in a burger cafe that had pineapple in it.
All the burgers were named after famous Italians/gangsters; I think the pineapple one was the Marciano or Graciano. |

Why is it that everyone seems to regard pineapple as a DESSERT only food item??
It has long been a key ingredient in Main Courses for centuries. Chinese, Indian and other cultures especially in the Far East have used it in their respective culinary styles.
Chinese stir-fries with or without Pieapple Rice, Pork with pineapple and citrus fruits, the traditional Sweet and Sour dishes, the list is endless.
Celebrated chefs, James Martin, Prue Leith, and legendary Ken Hom, have all used pineapple in main course dishes which have included accompaniment items such as MEAT.
So, for all of those who can't see the justification of pineapple anywhere than in a sponge pudding or with Ice Cream, are other world wide culinary tastes wrong? Are leading chefs across the world wrong? Is the Catering Industry wrong too?
Or is it just that you pineapple haters are, in the nicest way possible, just Food Snobs whose upbringing didn't put you in touch with eating options?
Or put it this way, if it wasn't liked in the markets, companies wouldn't produce it! But they do. |

This but dump the cheese and replace with chillis. Pineapple is only worthy to be on a cocktail stick with a square of cheese. |

Chinese are the best for it, duck in orange sauce, chicken in honey and lemon... mmmm |
