A delivery driver left his unlocked phone in our office

As tempting as it was, we found his office number and nothing else

When he came back to pick it up though, we did kid him that we'd been through his mucky pics

Just wait for it to ring and return it?

I'd do what every other self respecting person would do, I'd take a damn good look to see if there were any naughties on it of course, but if I was ever asked (for example on an Internet casual sex forum ..) about it I'd absolutely deny that I'd ever have the scruples to do such a morally bankrupt thing ..

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

Send some random nutty texts to everyone in the phonebook, then hand it in at the cop shop

I'd take the worst selfie I could and leave it as a little present!

I wouldn't.

I'd just pass it in to the nearest police station.

Would go out of my way to return it, nothing worse than losing your contacts and pictures. However if it was a girlfriends curiosity would take over and I'd probably have a good nosey before returning it #mabad

Thinking about it .......

Let's say ive lost my phone. Person can't ring me to tell me they found it. So....... they ring the first number in my contacts.

Them. Hello. I've found a phone.

The other one. Oh yeah. Whose is it?

Them. I dunno. Your numbers in it tho.

So how do we find out who owns the phone ?

I am not in the slightest bit nosey, and have little interest in a strangers life. I would look for a contact, preferably someone who was a relation. If it said mum/dad, I would ring them, and tell them how to retrieve the phone.

The person you ring hopefully has you in their contacts. Hopefully.

The person getting called looks at the name against the number?

I wouldn't, for the same reason I don't look at my partner's or my children's phones, respect for privacy.

Lol if it's unlocked I would find out whose phone it was and try to get the phone back to its owner

I've found 2 phones in recent years. The one that was unlocked I sat on during a taxi ride home, I only realised when it started vibrating

I answered it was the owners BF, so I arranged to meet him the next day to give the phone back. I had a quick look flick through her photos, had no urges to look at anything else.
