Feel good about themselves, costs nothing and goes such a long way, it's great when you do something thoughtful to help others actually brings positive vibes into your own life too. Something as simple as just listening to someone can make a huge difference, what thoughtful thing have you done to help another recently or in the past that's helped them and also made you feel good about yourself. |

I'm always happy to help people, just recently I took on some extra work that one of my colleagues was struggling with because I knew I could do it super quick. It was quick and easy for me and she really appreciated it. |

Totally agree,I always say "be kind to people, you never know what they have going on in their lives".
When I was on a nightshift last week,I got a heartfelt thank you and I was just doing my job,but felt good to know I'd made a difference.

I'm a empath, always have been, and always will, putting others before myself,is second nature to me, it can be draining sometimes, but that's my nature, and doubt it will change anytime soon.
I've always wanted to do a counselling degree, but never got round to it. My whole career life has been about listening, and helping where I can. Also in my private life, I find I do the same!!!!!!! (Sounding a bit big headed here, but I'm not lol)

I used to have an ex like that always put everything and everyone before me and her loved that quality in her at first but then it drove me nuts to the extents she would go. Sometimes you have to put yourself and your significant other first. |

I'm the same, I spend a lot of time in my work doing things to help people. I'm not too good at accepting help myself. But I do try to make time for my family and mr. |

I have been today to a charity event for Syria organised by Syria charity, I left my heart there.
They showed us a video of the ground work volunteers do over there, they are the real HEROES.
One man lost his leg when trying to save a child who was buried under the piece of his destroyed house... it was heartbreaking to see those images yet at the same time it gives me hope to see that there are some decent MEN when most would have ran away. |

Done allsorts of things in a voluntary role...from just giving a moral boost to literally saving a couple of lives! So rewarding but politics and folks so full of their own self importance that actually made it impossible to carry on and ill health eventually made us stop.. |

I manage to do that too, lol....my partner works long hours, and I might not see him for days, but when he's here, he gets my full love and attention, perfect relationship for me, as I hate the living in each others pockets type relationship's. Also gives me time to myself, and my job. |
