I know it's childish but I was really proud when the audiologist complimented me on how clean my ears were and how clean I have kept the hearing aids. I was beaming like a four year old.
What has given you that gold star feeling?

One for you and one for the pup for being a good boy.
"
I will give my star to my pup as he is feeling very sorry for himself.. After loosing his ' stars' |

"Picked up the courage to visit a swinging club for the first time last week
I hope you enjoyed it. Have a gold star for getting out of your comfort zone."
I was definitely out of my comfort zone. Did I enjoy it? It was ok, but I think I chose a quiet night. I plan to visit others |

As with all such things, who is there and how we interact with them makes the difference.

My practice nurse tells me, I have a 'text book cervix', the right size, shape, and where it should be. She tells me many are not.
Some get a face that can launch the front cover of magazines. I get a text book cervix |

Have a gold star! (That's the sort of thing that would have me feeling proud. When I had a cervix it wasn't perfect.)

"I just got through the whole of 50 shades of Grey (with a little help from Jack)."
Jack?
I don't know if that deserves a gold star or a medal for coping with the bad writing (I only read three pages).

Being the nervous 'newbie' at the bar, with an open mind and no expectations, it was enough that I took in the atmosphere, and did away with the fear factor |

Today when the nurse came to check on my mum and praised me for being a great carer
And was amazed in the 7 years they have been coming not once has she had a bed sore or broken skin on her bottom
For them to say that makes me happy |

Mr Daniels. The acting wasn't great, but at least you didn't have to suffer him touching her sex, or putting his finger "there!".
I wouldn't mind his playroom though.
He's not really my type either. |

Is that because the lack of punctuation and spelling mistakes were absent? |

Absolutely. I'm sure even the offer will have helped her. |

I made a detour to give a work colleague a lift to a social event because I know her anxiety issues mean it's easier for her to walk into the event with someone. I know that sometimes she has difficulty getting over the doorstep so having that commitment of me picking her up helps
A good time was had |
