I have been on and off this site for about three years now, but am getting so fed up with people who say they want a meet and then vanish with poor excuses. I recently booked a hotel room on the understanding of several people showing up.. i ended watching the television, a bottle of wine and a nice chilled soak alone... i wonder if people had to pay to register would that cut out the no shows.. i feel i may again leave.. but due to my sex drive return.. but no one turns up. What do people think any ideas? |

Even site supporters can be time wasters, you go with your gut and have a very strict vetting practice to ensure you get the people who will actually turn up when they say they will. |

"It is the usual ..."yes looking forward to meet" but when u come to ask for a phone number or confirmation no where to be seen!"
Meet socially first if possible, most genuine people on here will be happy with a social before going further, that's what I always suggest when meeting for the first time. |

I may try that as the hotel payment was about the last straw... 75.00 for a night in front of the tv. Could have done that at home and had a hot tub and swim also! |
