And so we should help others, we have plenty in this country on the whole in comparison to the third world. Compassion is a good quality XXX

It was presumably in the budget and as a leader in the world, it is important to lead by example.

What would you prefer op? Us never to help when there is catastrophic disaster etc?

They'll be putting the council tax up to help care for our elderly next

To put that into perspective. Government spending on marketing in 2015 was about £300 million.

I think in comparison what we spend on Overseas Aid is pitiful.
