Was in intensive care for 4 days on returning from hati about 11 years ago
Contracted selmonella poisoning from a doddgy sausage we think (and before the wisecracks it was an edible pork sausage lol)

Some twat overtaking a truck on a blind bend. How I missed him I'll never know, but it was one of those moments when I truly thought my time was up.
And the one thought that went through my mind was that I wouldn't find out if my sisters unborn child was a boy or a girl.  |

Healthwise - salmonella from a dodgy mushroom pakora a few years back.
Otherwise - sitting in a pal's XJR going faaaaaaar too fast near Leeds when a wheel came off an artic and bounced down the motorway towards us. Somehow it bounced over us and onto the other carriageway. |

I'm indestructable. Have never spent a night in hospital, have never broken a bone. Had a few stitches in my finger in April this year but that's about it. |

I think I am a cat, as I seem to have a few lives lol, but have had a few close shaves. Aged 12, swept out to sea by current and saved by a lifeguard, however there were no lifeguards on that beach, turns out he was on holiday from America!!
Trapped upside down (by tree branches) in a kayak, on a very fast flowing river, and no-one else in the group could get to me, by pure fluke, a paddler in another group coming down the river crashes into the overhanging branches and knocks my boat out in clear water.
Rock climbing on a single rope (not very sensible) got stuck about 45 feet up, no way to down climb safely and have to untie so my climbing partner could coil it up and run up on a path to the top to tie it off and drop it down to me, spent about ten minutes hanging on by my fingertips.
........ Holy cow..... I think I am going to give up outdoor pursuits!!!
