Im mid week through my week (i weigh on a Friday) and ive had some great meals this week.

I had beef stew for breakfast as was out of fruit and needed something more thn just toast. It was left overs from Saturday evening and filled me right up until tonights meal of burger, chips and salad.

I follow the SW plan. id love 3.5 lb loss this week as that would mean i'm 2.5 stone down on my 29th birthday

I'm starting on my new routine come Monday. Reducing portion size, increasing number of meals and I'm changing up my diet. Hopefully, I'll feel better and have less lethargy. I've gained 3Kg since Christmas, but I'm looking to lose fat and build muscle mass instead of losing weight. I'll also be taking pictures this week and I'll review them in after 4 weeks to see if there's any noticeable change.

Had to abandon attempts to visit gym 3 times per week about a month ago as I think I have adrenal fatigue or something like that. I've been suffering from headaches and high blood pressure ever since and getting hypoglycaemia. It's so depressing!

Have had three weeks of flue and ear infection, one after another = only managed gym twice as lungs were totally fucked and its hard to do weight while coughing and dizzy.

With 5 weeks of due to mum being ill and my own eye infection and nan dying

I decided to go back to the gym on Sunday and I went again tonight after work

Today was bloody hard - my fault as I had the speed set for miles rather than km - so ended up doing a mile under 10 mins not intentionally and nearly throwing lunch up in process

But done 30 mins on tread mill, 15 mins on excersise bike and 15 mins doing weights today and a chicken salad for tea !!!!

I'm on day 6 of a 30 day bodyweight challenge. 15 minutes a day for 30 days.

I quit my gym as I didn't like it, so I'm doing that and 3 cardio classes a week. Plus Couch to 10k as I have my first OCR in May and it was my running that let me down year.

You're not alone in gaining the weight again, there was a documentary recently which showed a really high percentage do.

Well done for 20lbs loss that's impressive over a short period of time.

There's usually a trigger point.

Interesting programme, made me think about my yoyo dieting so now I'm trying to change my eating habits & exercise more. I don't want to join SW/WW I want to be able to lose & maintain weight my own way, I think for me that may well be the key to success.

I've lost 16lb in 9 weeks, no real reason other than to get toned, no weights, just sit ups, press ups and other things found on various 30 day exercise apps. Cut down on alcohol too, drinking more water and feeling great for it.

i really struggle if i cant clear a gain the following week.. i tend to go off the rails if it takes me more than 1 week to claw it back..

well done on the 5 lb loss!

ive got 1.5lb then i get my 3 stone award

well done you... im heading towards my stone... want it this month... and actually wouldn't mind my 5 and a half.

It is hard if you have a gain but mine was a choice to have a week totally off plan... a unwind and destress.... but it was scary as id still made ok choices most of the time...

I have a new focus again now though.... as got some things planned with the kids... and planning for my birthday ( December) so now i can motivate myself... it seems hard now as im happy at my current weight but have just over 4 more to lose for surgery...

My weightlose including ww is currently at over 7 stone... so im happy

I've lost about 8KG in almost a year by eating less carbs and sugar and replacing it with coconut oil as well as restricted calorie diet and fasting. Since January changed my workout to less intensity but higher volume so my strength has increased alot.

now I going to change again to less strength work and more flexibility and swimming and other health internal related things.

Sounds like everyone's doing so well!

I'm not really focusing on my weight at the moment, I'm working on eating healthier and exercising and then if the weight doesn't start coming off anyway I'll cut calories.

But I've started bouldering again after about 6-8 months off and although it's frustrating that I've lost all the strength I'd built up, I'm already gaining it back!

That's great OP, you're doing amazingly!

I started slimming world on Tuesday, my goal is 2 and a half stone. I'm surprised at how full I feel all of the time! For someone who would point blank refuse to eat any veg other than carrots, its really made a huge impact on my eating habits.

carrots are 'speed' too

each week i make a batch of veg soup for those emergency times when i just need a shed loads of free/speed food.

carrots, parsnip, swede, onion, spud, few split lentils to thicken and 2 knorr veg stock pots.. boil down and blitz.. BOOM

I'm still working on fitness more than weight loss, because just as I hoped the weight is coming off slowly as I eat healthier and exercise more! It's only a couple of pounds so far, but I'm gaining muscle as I lose fat, so I'm not expecting miracles

I'm finding running easier each time I do it, and my climbing is making me noticeably stronger each time I go!

"As of this morning I'm down 2.85 stone (18.1kg) since xmas.

I walk ALOT now, min is about 2.5 hours a day because I walk the dog from 6am (walking now as I type this) and walk at lunch. No whitr bread, breakfast is decent porrage or wholemeal toast and a preserve.

Drinking a mc'fuck load of water and no carbonated/sugary drinks except if I'm out with friends or family. Walk every lunch time rain or shine and have a light bite. In the evening I'm pretty protein heavy so last night was a large steak, peas, sweetcorn, carrots and trimmed beans.

Then every night I have a cross trainer or rower session at home followed by weights.

Been that way for 5 months and I love it. I still have treats but for the most part I don't really fancy much outside of what I already eat.

WOW thats pretty awesome to be fair..

I just follow the Slimming World plan (essentially no fats, loads of fruit & veg, and no white bread) I too drink loads of clear fluids and have a fitbit to kick my arse into touch

I was awarded a blue badge in Nov of last year as couldnt walk more than 200m without my lungs bursting through my chest it hurt so bad..

Now im averaging at 10,000 steps a day and burning 2500 calories just in excercise through working

So like yourself its a combination of both.

Although my physical health changed loads,, its my mental health improvements i appreciate the most

"What are you doing to lose 12.5 in a week?"

im following the slimming world plan.

ive never lost this amount in one week before. Ive a feeling alot of last weeks gain was water retention due to warm weather.

i just planned my meals and stuck to it. minimal fats.. still ate carbs in bucket loads. lean meats too. i did about 10,000 calories worth of exercise which helped.

And coconut oil in tea or coffee helps with sugar cravings.

So far my plan is going well, had to change the diet up a little so more protein and less carbs and fats

Did my body fat and its dropped from 25% to 14% with the aim of getting it down to around 7%

However total weight has gone up which shows i am slowly gaining muscle mass
