What are you looking to do? Just crop videos or put special effects into them?

You can get Windows Movie Maker for nothing, its very simple but a good place to start. You can cut bits out, rearrange the order of how it's played etc I'd start there.

Agreement with this guy. I love Windows Movie Maker. Trying VSDC for green screen although £20 for this.

Windows movie maker will be built in any laptop or computer and theres only very little one can do with it. Say the basic stuff. But for vlogging it won't be really helpful as viewers will notice the poor collaboration. Also depends what quality he records on. I can suggest adobe premier...its a bit pro but hey y not?

Windows movie Maker and YouTubes own editor should be suitable for blogging posts Imo.

For my serious stuff i use Sony Vegas or Pinnacle but if it an easy editing programme download MOVAVI (costs about $20).

It does everything & in any format.

If you are running windows platform then Movie maker is free but i find it is limited so for ease i use cyberlink power director for our xhamster vids..
