My missus wants a set from Agent Provocateur. The bra thong and suspender belt come to £140. I'm like wtf????

I always wait for the sales.. but have had a few custom corsets made and they werent cheap..

I love well made lingerie.

Can you afford it, would it mean going without something else?

I wouldn't pay that much I'd probably go to around £50 for something really special. Mr N often buys me things too but I'm not sure how much he spends.

AP stuff is beautiful but really expensive! I've got a few bits but in the sale which is loads cheaper but still is about the same you'd pay elsewhere.

I have spent around £110 on a set before but that was a one off. I have only worn it once too ha ha ha.

It's a very elegant set and I usually but risqué lingerie in which I spend anything from £20 to £50.

Most of my lingerie isn't expensive but I do have 2 or 3 sets that were pretty costly. Marc bought them for me at Victoria's Secret.

Although I only shop at Victoria's Secret in the US when I visit home because it's way cheaper there than it is here.

If I had the money and a man to wear it for I would pay a lot of money for well made lingerie.

I've bought corsets and kinky stuff before; it's all sitting idle in a bag, or was left at a buddy's place. I buy my matching underwear from Asda or online now.

True. It's still cheaper in USD though. Plus the sales/discounts in the US are better because the inventory is larger.

She's a bit 34ff and a size 12 in knickers. This is an issue as a lot of places don't do that size. Also the ones that do mostly are padded. She doesn't like any more padding. So it may be that I go with the AP set as a treat.

Trsut me agent provocaturue stuff is worth it.

Used to know a girl whos underwear was almost exclusivly AP hard to pin down what it is but the quality, the look the fit/feel etc are all just so kuch better than crap like ann summers.

If it fits your lady well get it and i bet you'll be buying fewer but morw high qualiy y peices in future

yeah £140 is kinda average for agent provocateur, not its most expensive by a long chalk....i'd buy it, though i always buy thongs 2 at a time, especially for a set, the bra/bustier always lasts ages, the knickers/thong not so much...shit happens

If its every day lingerie i dont mind paying extra for it, as would get the wear out of it and you pay for quality....If its just for something in the bedroom and corr factor then would never pay anything like that, as there is so much sexy stuff out there not neccesarily brilliant quality but good enough to get the desired effect x

Katie usully pays £50-60, but happy to pay between £80-100 for a full set of lingerie, more if she buys thong and Brazilian or French knickers, also When buying more expensive lingerie I usually buy more expensive stockings to go with them, if cheaper set then slightly cheaper or more everyday stockings rather than the £15-20 pairs. It's like well it's an expensive set so I want to make the outfit that bit more special

Yes I realise I am a bog standard size and since the radiotherapy my boob has shrunk so no bra fits anymore,the right one is 2 sizes smaller
