I was told i was a romantic by a member recently, we both decided it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. What's your take on it? Is there room for romanticism on here? |

A world of my own |
I'm a hopeless romantic. I wear my heart on my sleeve.I make huge efforts. In a hook up and move on culture its refreshing, however also can leave you feeling a bit deflated if efforts aren't matched. |

Yes of course.
Swinging isn't exclusively for emotionally stunted sociopaths.
People do try to segregate so many things.
It is possible to be HUGELY romantic and yet not want commitment to one person.
As long as people set out their stalls from the off...... where's the problem ? |

I love a little romance. I still meet up twice a year with the first lady I met on here. Always the same hotel down in Devon. We do all the things couples do. Laugh , hold hands and make love but we both do not want commitment. We just enjoy catching up and chatting about life's highs and lows. |

Definitely! I like all kinds of meets, fast and dirty, d/s, etc but meets where there's a touch of romance (even just for the briefest of time) really work for me. I see it largely as role playing or creating a shared fantasy. Romance and love are two different things and so I think it's very possible to be romantic in a swinging capacity as long as you're both clear on where the lines are to avoid confusion.
Romantic men are extremely attractive |
