Are you only classed as a pervert when you are a single Man ? Or one that isn't classed a attractive ?
(A person whose sexual behaviour is regarded as abnormal and unacceptable)
It happened awhile back but like a lot the threads I start its only just popped into my head,
I was out with a group of friends mainly couples but 3 singles including me, After a few(well a lot) of drinks had gone down some flirty and a lot of sexual innuendos was getting thrown about, When in walks this single male, Someone we all know, And a few of the Women started saying he better not come over here as he's a bloody pervert, But their reasons for calling him one was that he is always making sexual innuendos in front of them and flirting with them, Now I don't know him as long as them or as well and I have only ever heard him making a few sexual jokes myself,
Was their comments because he was single, Unattractive, Both ?
Or none of the above,
I know you don't know him, My friends or this particular situation,
Maybe he is a pervert I honestly don't know, I was talking in general |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
It is often a lot of things together that make people give someone such a negative label.
The sexual innuendos may be made individually and not just in a group situation. He may be a space-invader. He may have been pestering people. Sometimes it's a gut feeling that you can't pinpoint but you know you don't trust that person.

I suppose its also how the other person reacts to the comments or how well they get on with that person, Its not a comment normally associated with single Women though or Women in genral |

We knew someone that was always making innuendo's or innappropriate sexual comments, whatever the conversation he managed to turn it to sex, for the majority he was considered to be a pervert, he is now on the sex offenders register after spending some time in prison for a sexual assault, due to the nature of the crime the full details were never disclosed which was probably for the best.
So, it could be intuition, but sexual innuendo's are generally more welcomed if it's by someone you find sexually acceptable even if you have no plan to actually get jiggy with them. Ultimately continual sexual comment can be rather tiresome.

Im single because I want to be. Not because im ugly or cant get layed etc.
Im just at a stage in life where being single suits my lifestyle more.
Never get lonely or sexually frustrated so quite happy .
But if someone really special pops into my life I would be open to a relationship. |

I think there is an art to innuendo, and just like sarcasm, you have to know your audience. Some come across as creepy and others as sexy leg pullers.
I'd say that for your friends to say what they said that they had been a bit creeped out.
We all have different sensibilities when it comes to these things. |

Some people just give off a vibe that others aren't comfortable with. Maybe he does that unconsciously and that's why he's seen that way. Doesn't mean he is a pervert but they just perceive him that way. |
