This is gonna sound sexist but ..... how the bloody hell do I defrost my freezer that's got 2 inches of ice in it . Been on since 6 pm and still solid ! Kettle after kettle . Steamer , gettin pissed off now !! |

Ours has a defrost button.
On older ones I recall just leaving the door open until things thawed enough to shift by hand.
I would recommend against pouring boiling water into a freezer. Or using an ice pick or similar. |

 yup hairdryer but can get messy so plenty of towels and do NOT put the hairdryer right inside the freezer... water n leccy not the best of mates.. lol. |

should defrost it when you've hardly any food in it really.
leave it over night, shove a towel on the floor coz it will 'drip', and then the bug chunks of ice should drop off in the morning, leave them in the sink or something. |

You could of broke through the lining of the freezer as seens as its hissing. Possibly be in need a new one |
