Whenever we leave the house, one of us if not both of us ALWAYS take a mobile phone with us - without exception.
Today we needed a couple of things from Lidl (yeah wwe're cheapskates). Lidl is 5 minutes away from us in the car, so off we went without a mobile phone .. Dunno why, neither of us took one with us we just didn't
Got our shopping and jumped back in the car - guess what ? Couldn't get the fucking key into the ignition, no way, no how - it just wouldn't go.
So we had to hunt around for a phone, eventually the good people of Lidl let us use their phone to contact the AA.
2hrs later back home. !
I'm not sure what the moral of the story is here;
Remember the phone or don't buy a brand new Peugeot 207. |

Lol, you answered before I posted the thread - now that's
Just putting a couple of errors right lol
Aye I think it must be Murphy's law, or the law of Sod - couldn't believe that on the one and only time we had no phone, we needed the bloody thing

Scrappage scheme decision?"
Tell you what - you're not so far from the truth as you may imagine .. wish I'd kept the old car |

I'm not overly surprised. I've spoken to a few folks who were tempted by £2000 for their ageing runabout only to regret letting it go. |

No this wasn't bought under the scrappage scheme, but I feel like getting rid of it under the bloody scheme. 2040 miles on the clock and this'll be the 3rd time in dock for it. My 5yr old Peugeot 206 was never a pick of bother |

You could have walked to Lidl, thus reducing your carbon footprint and you wouldn't have touched the car so the key wouldn't have got stuck in it and you wouldn't have needed your mobile thus reducing any brain-scrambling radiowaves. Altogether an unproductive day hehehe |

Never thought of it that way Wishy . Just goes to show that every cloud could have had a silver lining.
However - I'd have had to go on my own cos the missus cannot get about after her boob job, and then the car may have gone tits up when I was further away - eg Birmingham in 2 weeks time - but thinking about that, I'd have gotton recovery to bring the car and us back, thus saving fuel Hmmmmmm walks away thinking and scratching chin .... |
