I like holidays. Holidays do not exist for the purpose of getting money from consumers. They have been exploited for that purpose, but I think it's cynical to see it as their main reason for being.
I don't spend much money on any of those holidays and I still enjoy myself. |

I bet Valentine's Day was a conspiracy by inter flora and all of the chocolate factory's and restaurants back in the day. And Guinness wasn't selling well, until some Irish guy marketed it. Lol |

Apparently one of the only loosely traceable reference to anyone even resembling St valentine was a wayward womanising monk who was beheaded by the roman catholic church.....
But I may have just make that up |
