I just heard my letterbox go as I was walking to my living room with a coffee.
The item delivered by the postman fell onto the carpet softly.
Thoughts rushed through my head...'could it be?'....for me?
I slowly opened the door to
my hallway and looked down to look at the delivery in the welcome mat.....A donations bag for Oxfam.
What did you get in the post?
Do you expect anything?
*I check my inbox here regularly by the way, I'm somewhat disappointed with you all. I have feelings.   |

Ive just been told by my hubby that he didn't get me anything for Valentines Day as he doesn't believe in it.
He feels it's more important to tell his wife he loves her every day. |

I've not checked the post yet, but I've had a nice message of my ash and I put my love honey order in last nite. I'll be going out in a bit to stock up on my bath bombs and I'll get my daughters some choc and my luna-pants a teddy. Xxx |

Red roses....but my best gift is a paper heart covered in glitter glue & bits of tissue & pom poms...my small person nearly burst when he gave it to me!  |

Hes only ever bought me a valentines gift once when I was 16 and he wanted to get into my knickers haha, 15 years on we just get the m&s meal deal, I cook wearing something provocative, he gets into my knickers....
I'm not that botherd about it really but it would be nice to have a card or something haha x |

We have given each other cards and we are going out for a romantic dinner tonight too.
We love Valentines Day and always celebrate it. However we also show love and affection for each other every day of the year anyway

Nothing through the post. No huge shocker... After 23 years I'd be suspicious if he started getting me anything now! We'll snuggle later. ..just like we usually do. I might feed the kids early and cook something special for us. ..but that's mainly because I fancy a nice dinner  |

Frank's romantic enough for the both of us - I spent far too long with a cold hearted man that I've forgotten 
I got a bouquet of gorgeous yellow roses (I don't like red) & a box of chocolates (which we'll share). He got a card & a kiss

I got a lovely card and some squashy juggling boobs....
I don't know if they were intended to keep me satisfied while I am away at work but I can't wait to get home and turn my attention to the real thing.  |

I've got scilense all day, because I told her not to get me anything because I weren't cause I'm skint til Friday. But I was joking. I bought her a couple of presents and made a card and bought breakfast up this morning, and that's pissed her right off cause she didn't get me anything lol silly really. £75 on the premium bonds and a Thank You card for one of my little acts of kindness. I like getting card surprises.

I treated the OH to a fitbit
Ok, so it's not romance personified, but he's wanted one for a while and as we are saving for a house, he felt he couldn't justify one
So today was just really an excuse to give him a gift that I new he would appreciate
Hearts and flowers are over rated anyway  |
