I have a new found respect for the vanilla singles bar

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

A friend took me to a couple of bars in their area specifically set up for singles to meet ….. and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Yes, there were a few folk their looking for an instant fix, but to be fair a significant amount had an attitude more akin to the swinging world than a number of so calling swinging singles.

Not only was it a very relaxed atmosphere, there plenty of people using the social setting to make new contacts….and there was some seriously hot totty.

I’m now googling to try and find a few places closer to home.

Does anyone else go to any singles bars?

Anyone know any really good ones?

How would you feel about going to one?

I've never heard of one but it sounds like an interesting idea.

I'd go to one, I think, if it looked like a decent place.

There must be some down south.... I'd have thought London (and greater London) would be prime singles bar terrain.

My sister and her friend met their partners at a singles bar: they swore by them.

Not something I'd be interested in myself as I'm not a social person per se and I find small talk tiring after while.

I wouldn't have a problem at all. I think its a pretty good idea and wish we had one up here. After all you can't use a 10 yr old picture in a bar.

They're called Turkish Baths in London.
