My mams dog stood on my face the other day when I was lying on the floor playing with the bairns.. he tried to jump over me, misjudged it and managed to drive my glasses into my nose. nearly took my nose off my face..

Jack Russell's man... crazy!

My boss in work has a 14 week old Alsatian/Husky Cross that he brings into work with him. She is bloody gorgeous but by god her paws and teeth are sharp! Covered in scratch marks where she tries to climb up onto my lap (awww).

My dog also gets a bit open mouthed when playing and sometimes he catches you with a tooth, but he looks so appalled with himself when he does it and fusses over you to make sure you're ok.

My cat is crazy. Aged 5 months he jumped through the bars on the landing and landed at the bottom of the stairs. He needed 2 operations on his knee to fix it and ended up spending 6 months cooped up in a small dog cage while it healed. Thank goodness we had pet insurance, £2500 is a lot of money to find .

We've blocked all the gaps to stop him doing it again - yes, he is that stupid

Those of you who's cats scratch, have you tried trimming their claws?

I do both my cats and just take off about 1mm using a pair of nail clippers.
