Still sad from that game. I didn't think we were going to win before it started but then thought there was a chance only for us to mess it up.

Great performance from Ireland earlier - no excuses about a bus today

Exciting game from Wales & England tonight - thought Wales were going to pull it off but cannot write off England when they are up against it these days.

Here's hoping for a great game tomorrow (and a win for us Scots )

it was a hard fought game if they hadn't kicked into the centre field the result could have gone the other way.

There were a lot of positives to take from todays game for Wales. One or two moments were we lacked composure . Let's focus on those positives and move forward

England great strength in depth. Moved the ball quickly and with purpose. Jones has built a great hard plating team with flair . Definitely the best team in the Northern Hemisphere and potential next world cup winners.

The game more than lived up to expectation

Well done the neighbours

this..

Brown missed touch earlier in the game but it wasn't too costly..

Wales had several chances to kick for points in the 1st half which they didn't take but that's how it goes at that level..

Didnt expect England to beat Wales especially after our previous games performance, right up until the last line out (which we had to win to keep possession) was I comfortable. A brilliant game and what a try from Wales, that was an amazing try, even the rear view camera man followed the wrong player. #Bamboozled

They did mess it up if they hadn't they would have won. That's not the best Welsh performance in years. They're not clinical enough like they were before, the defence is awesome but the amount of time we spent in Englamds half, practically on their try line we should have come away with points.

I'm bitter, I will be for the rest of the evening.

I attend both and have to say that in my opinion rugby has a better friendlier atmosphere - especially in town before and after the game regardless of the result.

Rugby players....FAR sexier than football players.

As I live in Rugby Land, though....I have to say that as calm as the crowds are, they do tend to piss on the walls a lot. We locals avoid the pubs as much as possible (and the alleys, after).

that might be the best opening to a game so far.....

the key to the game for me... the packs...

france's is super heavy.... scotland's is much more nimble....

the slower the game the more it suits france.... if the scots can play ball quickly in and around the rucks... the better it will be for them

the way all the home nations are playing it is going to make for some really tough calls for the lions tour in the summer......

there are going to be some really good players left out of the initial 40-45... on the plus side there are going to be some really good players on standby....

since we are two weeks in and we all get next week off... should we do a bit of lions talk in the meantime...

1st off... who on earth do you name captain.. because i am not convinced any of the 4 nations captains for this 6 nations will be in the test team....

at the moment i would take jamie george over both Dylan Hartley and Rory Best (i'd have best 2 and hartley 3 at the moment at hooker)

Laidlaw at 9 i am not convinced will even go (i think 9 is the most open spot for the test team... at the moment for me conor murray leads.. but rhys webb isn't far behind)

and AJW is in the fight for one of the 2nd row places (itoje, Kruis and launchbury for england, the Gray brothers for scotland, Donnacha ryan and devin toner for ireland..)

if we are looking at the tour captain being someone who could be nailed on for a test place.... are we looking at johnny sexton?

Exciting, pivotal weekend this one. I'll predict narrow victories for Wales and Ireland today. Followed by a sound beating being handed out by England tomorrow.

First up, the Scots are really going to miss Greg Laidlaw who's ruled out of the rest of the competition.

Wales will be boosted by the return of George North.

10

Years have passed since Scotland last defeated Wales, is today the day?

I certainly hope so

Though I think the battering the French gave us will be telling today

And IMHO I don't think North should be playing. He's had too many concussions this season, and I don't think it's good for his long term health

A thoroughly brilliant tournament so far with the exception of Italy, if parisse retires this year they may as well give up !

I predict a narrow win for Wales today and unfortunately for all our Irish friends I think you've fucked it putting sexton straight in, paddys been the best 10 in the tournament so far and it beggars belief to drop him.

Predict Sexton to be subbed after french hit him hard a few times...However be canny and not hard enough to remove him as Paddy is definitely the better player and could swing it for Ireland if brought on.

"

Predict Sexton to be subbed after french hit him hard a few times...However be canny and not hard enough to remove him as Paddy is definitely the better player and could swing it for Ireland if brought on."

the french always target sexton.... they will run at him all day..... if ireland are going to play the expansive game they need to get it out to the centres and wings quick.........

i think it is more likely to be an "up the jumper" game... actually really looking forward to seeing how the two sets of back rows play.....

half time thoughts....

I hate chippy 9's and 10's... the welsh just breed them... not as chippy as laidlaw but just as annoying

dan biggar doesn't tackle....

loving the visser vs north battle on the wing......

scotland can win this.... but the speed around the ruck is too slow....

the kiwis will target him on the 1st game on tour exactly the same they targeted BOD the last time the lions went to new zealand.....

i think they will take 3 10's on tour and only play sexton in the game the saturday before test 1 as a warm up....

Possibly vissers best game in a scotland shirt. Usually tackling is weak and not great under high ball but did well for both today.
