There was a telephone line to heaven so I could wish my dad a happy birthday
Today is my dads birthday he would have been 85
Even after 19 years of his passing I still find this day very hard to cope with  |

There is a telephone line.
It rings him everytime you think about him.
He hears you so dont you think for a second he doesnt hear you and what you feel about him!

my Mum passed just over three years ago and today would have been her 82nd birthday |

I'm sure with that much love in your heart fir him his spirit is never far from your side .

What a lovely thought .... and it must be true if Jesus says so 
Try to find comfort in remembering the happy times you shared rather than thinking about the loss. Anniversaries can be tough.

Don't know about you, but for me on occasion days I don't visit my first wife's grave, but go somewhere we used to enjoy together. Find I can still talk to her there.
It never stops, but does get easier. hugs |

Thanku everyone for you kind messages and inboxed messages
And big hugs to those who have lost loved ones
It never gets easier I don't think
It's 19 since dads passing but feels like yesterday
This year has been harder as I've only recently started the grieving period after all these years
God knows why it's taken all these years considering I was so close to him and daddies girl
It don't help that mum has dementia and one minute she is in tears the next fussing that we got to sort dads birthday present out
I did feel guilty as I went out to the cinema
But as you all said dad wouldn't want to see me upset and wound want me to carry on as normal
But Thanku once again I found comfort from your replies x |
