How do you know that the next appeal with have the same effect?
And if the appeal fails, and then there is a terrorist attack carried out by a Muslim on US soil, Trump will blame the idiotic liberal Judges.

Like it or loathe it he is the President of the United States and it should not have been overturned! He has gone into power doing exactly as stated in his campaign trail and the reason many voted for him. |

There is a constitution for a reason. Just because a president wants something done, doesn't mean it can't, and shouldn't, be overturned by the judicial branch of it is in violation of the constitution.
He can write the EO in a way that doesn't violate the constitution, and I would argue he'd be better off (and waste less time) if he did that instead of arguing the 20ish court cases against this one. It's his own fault for not seeking counsel from the department of justice or any other pertinent department before signing the EO. |

Anyway, the travel ban has NOT been ruled out. The 9th circuit court of appeals simply made a procedural decision by refusing to stay the temporary restraining order imposed by the district court. A decision on the merits has yet to be made.
Fighting the TRO is just taking energy and resources away from a full hearing on the merits that still needs to occur in the district court. Even if the federal government appeals the decision of the 9th circuit and the Supreme Court actually decides to hear the case, it would still only by a procedural decision on the TRO and not a decision in the merits. So the OP is not quite technically correct. I'm not sure Trump knows the difference either. |
