Just out of interest, for I obviously pissed someone off.
A lady had "don't call me a big girl" on her profile. I mailed her saying "I don't like big girls but love rubenesque goddesses." Would you see that as being very interested? Or block me?.
Score. Block =1. Compliment =0

what her definition of big may not be what others see... I'm the worlds worst in all honestly.. adding pounds and inches to myself.
I would take curvy, womanly or reubenesque... because I am... |

For a woman who is sensitive to being called a "big girl" I would probably have avoided adjectives that reference her weight at all. Rubinesque might sound nice to you, but she might see it as another way of saying "big girl." |

Well, her saying 'don't call me a big girl' could also mean she might be but doesn't want a guy who fetishises her for it. You then saying you don't like big girls precludes her from the running and could in that circumstance be seen as fairly insulting. I speak from experience; I was told many years ago by a guy in a bar that he liked big women and I was gorgeous. All I heard was that I was fat and therefore acceptable to him. I turned him down; I have no desire to be a ticklist fuck. Devil's advocate card played. |

Fella if i was you I wouldn't worry about it .her reasons are her own what ever they maybe .
My advice would be to just move on with out a second thought as to why because in the grand scheme of life a blocking on here from a stranger is really meaningless |

If somebody says they don't like being referred to as big just don't refer to their size, don't just say big but in a different way.
You can just say "I like your ass" without adding adjectives |

Some people can't handle reality. lf you're fat - or whatever - chances are that you are going to attract people who are attracted to those traits.
Did she have 6'0'' and over stated too? lol. |

Of course, I forgot fat women aren't allowed to only want to have sex with tall men |

Hard to get the tone of a written message right when it's a joke. I've typed sarcastic jokes that I'd be able to get away with in real life because of the way I'd say it, but people can get offended on here. |

Fat women can do what they want but to take umbrage at being approached because of a bodily trait and then do approaching solely due to certain traits in others is a hypocrisy.

I'm not sure who said anything about "solely". If I messaged a man and was all "hey you're really tall! Want to meet, you're so tall, I love your tall body and how you are so tall" I'd be perfectly ok with them rejecting that on the basis that I was literally only attracted to that one feature.
So if someone happens to be attracted to my fat body that's fine. If their entire message is about how they've always wanted to try a fat woman or they love fat then no, I'm probably not going to be into that.
No hypocrisy here. |

The criteria for meeting often is dependent on one trait. Will you meet a guy if he is 5'2'' in shoes, even if he has lots of other things going for him? (l bet he'd had little muscly legs) Can't speak for you but l doubt it.
l do see the point you are making though.

No I wouldn't. But something being my first hurdle doesn't make it the only reason I'm attracted to them. I won't consider anyone smaller than me, it's my deal breaker, but that doesn't mean it's my only criteria for meeting. Someone else's deal breaker might be smoking, or only wanting straight men. That doesn't mean they fetishise that characteristic. |
