Help required... Can a group email be sent... hiding contacts from each other BUT not from sender?

I know this is a rather unsexy question and do apologise ??

BCC everyone you will still be able to see the distribution list

It's called BCC.

Some email clients have that box under the CC box (which is under the TO box)

BCC recipients are hidden.

Thank you... I sent a group email this time last year but could not see the recipients. Just need a refresher ready for the new email etc.

Bham

Yep bcc, blind carbon copy, to send without showing recipients.

Cc, carbon copy, to show everyone else the recipients.

Many a mistake made when someone wants to do bcc but only uses cc

Bcc will do it, but it's not rock solid bullet proof imo.

I've had that back-fire in my old workplace with Gmail.

Outlook... sent one where all the clients could see each other's email.. then sent a second via bcc but then I couldn't confirm if they had received the information.

Even with a BCC field I think you might still be able to request a read receipt?

You can put a receipt request to the message.

Yes you can. if the BCC field doesn't show, you can enable it in the options somewhere. Google (or the built-in help by pressing f1) will help.

It's mainly so that I can check my group email for proof that I did send certain info to certain clients... when they call in the future stating it was never sent etc. My own peace of mind.
